Precision Machining

In-line with trends in customer requirements to procure fully machined forgings, Kalyani Forge set up a state-of-art machining facility in 2006. The facility can produce precision machine engine and suspension parts. Today we supply machined connecting rods, turned gear blanks, SS turbo-charger nozzle rings, brackets and railway products to customers in domestic and overseas markets.

The precision machining facility at Kalyani Forge has the technology of manufacturing conventional and fracture split connecting rods. There are seven dedicated connecting rod machining lines, to manufacture 100,000 thousand rods per months. The turned gears blanks and turbocharger nozzle rings lines can each produce about 50,000 thousand pieces per month.

We also have an in-house tool room, CNC/VMC and special purpose machines (SPMs) for machining intricate components including Rear Axle Tube assemblies.
